Stormy Night

Stormy Night is a diagonal combination of right triangles in a 16-unit four-patch setting and an eight-pointed star set on point to make a 12 inch block.

This block is particularly effective when used in multiples.  For instance, try it in a number of Log Cabin settings, or make up something original. 

The single-block example shown here is bordered to be used as a small wall hanging.
